Travis House Mission
The mission of the Travis House is to free men from the bonds of addiction. Residents develop a biblical foundation and learn recovery tools to live a healthy and productive life. We believe that having a relationship with Jesus Christ will lead to healing and recovery.
Therapeutic Community
The Travis House offers a therapeutic community residential model. This means that the men in the house support one another and hold each other accountable. This becomes the primary agent for change during the individual’s participation in the Travis House.
They have the opportunity to develop a safe and caring environment in which they address personal issues impacting their recovery. This develops personal and community accountability, communication and collaborative skills, trust and supportive relationships, all of which are essential for recovery.
Why Travis?
On 11/13/2016, our founder Jeff Welton lost his son Travis to a drug overdose. Since then God has given us a calling to help men in addiction. We care for the lives of men struggling with drugs and alcohol, and we have made it our mission to help in a way that brings them closer to God and rebuild their lives.
